Fannie Mae Loan Purchase Letter

If Fannie Mae purchased your mortgage loan, you'll receive an informational letter from them (sample). The letter might say that your mortgage servicer, as of the date of purchase, is Carrington. However, the date of purchase is not the transfer date—you may still have a few weeks until your loan is actually transferred to us.

Your transfer date can be found in the goodbye letter your previous servicer will send you shortly before your loan is transferred to us, and in the pre-transfer communication we'll send you.
